I've applied. Now what?

There are some steps between applying to NWU and moving in. Here are the big things you need to know.

Submit your FAFSA

  • As soon as possible after you and your parents file federal tax returns, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Use the link above to fill out the FAFSA online.

  • You can get a Personal Identification Number at www.pin.ed.gov. Nebraska Wesleyan University’s college code is 002555.

Respond

  • If you applied under Regular Decision, as soon as we receive your FAFSA information, we will send financial aid award letters on a rolling basis. Respond to your offer by the deadline listed on your award letter.
  • Beginning May 15, we’ll send financial aid award letters to applicants who applied under Late Decision. Respond to your offer by the deadline listed on your award letter.

Deposit

  • Submit your $100 admissions deposit to accept the offers of admission, scholarship and financial aid.

Register

  • If you are a first time first year student, attend a Summer Registration Session to register for classes in June or August.
  • If you are a transfer student, registration for classes is by individual appointment during summer or winter breaks.
